WORTHI PR was tasked with bringing American audiences into the world of Black UK dramas with the launch of Tubi’s “Boarders”, a coming of age original series chronicling the experiences of Black British students who were awarded scholarships to attend a prestigious boarding school in London. We moved strategically among culture forward publications, mediums and platforms to identify ways to break out the burgeoning cast and series creator Daniel Lawrence Taylor. The show received critical acclaim with a 100% Rotten Tomatoes score and strong reception from top-tier outlets including: Variety, Deadline, BET, Ebony, Blavity and more. The series was also renewed for a second season as a testament to its groundswell and plugged-in American fanbase.
